Lino print of a decorative bowl with golden pears in it.

Vonnie Raw (also known as 'Cogbeetle Art') began printmaking at school where her art teacher introduced her to lino and the art of lining up layers of colour to form an image. She then went on to complete a BTech foundation course in Art & Design at Basingstoke Technical College, and then graduated with a BA (Hons) in ‘Fine Art & Non-European Art History’ at Birmingham School of Art in 1993. Vonnie later completed a Masters degree in ‘Art & Design Education’ at De Montfort University in 2001. Over a number of years, she has taught creative courses in painting, textile techniques and printmaking. Vonnie currently specialises in hand-pulled lino-reduction prints inspired by urban landscapes, historical architecture, objects of interest and environmental themes.
Vonnie is a member of the Artist Collective @ Westbury and a studio holder at Westbury Arts Centre in Milton Keynes.
During BAW, visits 10th to 13th June by appointment only.
