Individual hand built stoneware ceramic sculptures, garden pieces and explorations of geometry and colour. A major interest is in shape and form and how a simple shape can be developed in many ways. Some sculptural pieces are left unglazed to allow the form to provide the interest. My garden pieces are made to provide interest and a focal point. They have included totem poles, birdbaths, bullrushes and pumpkins. My interest in geometric pieces started with a fascination with shape plus the technical challenge of how to make them in a hollow form.
I am exhibiting with a great group of artists; Lesley Keck, Jennifer McAllister, Helen Abbott, Sam Burke, Anna Woodhead and Melanie Mosaics in the lovely market town of Stony Stratford. The art will be displayed indoors and in our large and beautiful garden. We will have a rota of artists but I will be here every day. Refreshments will be available. There is ample parking. There may be the chance to see demonstrations and studios.
