I create dyed, printed and embroidered fabrics, building layers of colour and texture, then adding the detail of hand embroidery. Incorporating an element of vintage reference: inspired by a family member, ephemera I have collected, social history or a simple walk. My work for BAW includes eco printing and embroidery on things I have made or found. I work with community groups to create meaningful textiles and run workshops for novice and experienced students.
