I will be exhibiting my kiln formed glass art, at this lovely venue in Stony Stratford, with 6 other artists.
I am interested in the different textures & effects that I am able to create depending on inclusions, glass colour, temperature & duration in the kiln. My inspiration comes from the natural world, especially the seaside & landscapes, particularly creating pieces that remind me of my favourite places, bringing back fond memories.
The artists will be taking it in turns to be at the venue to meet you. Please check www.samburkeart.co.uk to see when I will be at the venue. The venue will have art on display inside & outside in the beautiful garden. There will also be the chance to see demonstrations from some of the artists & there is a ceramicist's working studio too.
