Imagined watercolour landscapes
Obsidian Art

I’m inspired by the hills of Wales, the majestic Scottish Highlands and Islands, and the weather. My love of the outdoors and connection with the wild motivates my melancholy landscapes; placing a lonely bothy or wriggly tinned roof into imagined landscapes, using whatever tools I find to mark out abstract undulations and the occasional pathway. My paintings incorporate collage, watercolour and stitching, or occasionally are simply multiple layers of watercolour. I exhibit regularly and sell at events across the country and my work for Bucks Artweeks is all new.

Back with brand new washy watercolours, prints and cards for 2024. My second year with Bucks Artweeks and I'm delighted to be returning to Obsidian Art, joining other artists in this lovely space bursting with art and gifts.
