Expect to meet a wide range of lively, contemporary work by our group of 9 artists: paintings, ceramics, glass art, textiles, print making, felt designs, pastel/pencil portraiture. We look forward to chatting about our art, answering questions and explaining/demonstrating techniques. The potter's wheel will be busy at week-ends.
My own ceramics are thrown and turned mostly on a potter's wheel with the odd hand built item. I use my own recipes for the glaze I use on them often adding colouring oxides for effect or a simple brush or line decoration. They are all functional items to be used and enjoyed every day. I will be doing multiple wheel throwing demos on all three weekends.
