You will find a wide range of lively, contemporary work by our group of 9 artists: painting, ceramics, glass, textiles, printmaking and pastel/pencil portraiture.

My ceramic sculptures draw on the sea and marine life for inspiration. My current work is abstract but based on seaweed, coral, shells and waves. The clay is twisted and draped to create flowing, delicate sculptures, each of which is unique. They are raku fired and often finished with metal pastes and iridescent varnish, mainly in my favourite blues and greens. I like to display my work with air plants. The fantastic forms of the plants echo the organic, twisted shapes of my pieces - and the work becomes functional as well as merely decorative!
