Machine-embroidered textile art
St Dunstan’s

Rachel Wright image

Original embroidered textile art and prints inspired by the natural landscapes of the British Isles and particularly by the movement and energy of the sea and sky. The pieces are created using a domestic sewing machine, working over a collage of carefully selected fabric pieces with stitching, to capture and describe landscapes, seascapes, birds and animals.

Showing with a group of established artists/makers in lovely medieval St Dunstan’s Church in Monks Risborough.

Photos and more info at artatstdunstans.blogspot.com.

Easy parking on Mill Lane, off A4010. Then use any of the paved pedestrian paths to the church (one from Mill Lane and two from Burton Lane). Please do not park on Burton Lane, or drive down the pedestrian paths. Trains and buses within walking distance.

Home-baked refreshments throughout show. Cream teas weekend afternoons.
