Laser Cut Designs
Hazel uses a flat-bed laser to etch and cut her intricate designs into paper, mirrored acrylic and wood. Her work includes framed papercuts, hanging and freestanding decorations, and wooden house nightlights. Inspired by the precision and delicacy of traditional paper cutting whilst living in Hong Kong, Hazel went on to attend a summer school with a laser-cutting artist in Edinburgh and ultimately set up her own studio in Buckinghamshire in 2013.
See the design process in full and watch the laser in action. From the A4010, turn down Windsor Hill, then left onto Wellington Avenue. There is plenty of space to park on the driveway and access the garden studio via the side gate.
