Mitzie is a professional artist working from her studio gallery in Berkhamsted. She develops work based on feelings that there has to be something unexplained, mysterious, enigmatic to keep the mind working. Her approach is intuitive, spontaneous, and loose.
She enjoys working with beginners and experienced artists. She holds regular workshops, encouraging new techniques, accidents and experiments. She encourages a loose style with an emphasis on unintentional effects which become part of the composition and helps students develop their own style.
