Kate Whiting is a successful knitwear designer, doll maker and textile artist working with natural fibres and materials to create knitted and felted creations.
In particular she loves to work with merino, silk, and yak.
Her creations are pieces of art to be worn or draped and enjoyed.
The custom made inspired Waldorf dolls are made from all natural materials.
Kate takes her inspiration very much from nature, folklore, novels and her interest in Scottish clothing history in the 17th and 18th century, as well as the colours of Scotland's nature and landscape.
