We are 4 experimental artists. Following a Fine Art course, Pip's style has become more expressive. She takes inspiration from the landscape, often starting the process painting 'en plein air' working in oils, then developing her ideas in the studio adding collage and mixed media.
Sylvia studied Fashion, Textiles and Art and successfully taught for 39 years. Textiles and painting both play an important part in her creative process. Landscapes are a recurring theme in her work.
Musician and ex Kew Gardens' student, Jane sees music in colour. She enjoys expressing this synaesthesia using form, texture and tone and likes to get her hands dirty.
Sheila studied at Manchester College of Art. She enjoys painting trees and landscapes and interpreting poetry using watercolours.
