I studied Contemporary Applied Arts at Univ. Hertfordshire, graduating in 2015. Since then I have been lucky to establish my own home studio and develop my interest in porcelain. As a chemist I have always been interested in how materials combine so my studio work involves a lot of experiments. I am often thinking of how to incorporate wire and other textiles into my work. These elements bring their own material language, for example, simple winding, stitching or pins. My use of oxides and glaze is fairly minimal so as to retain the quiet properties of my work and to allow the porcelain to be seen.
