Based in Milton Keynes, Selmath is a self-taught Watercolor Artist with a background in Architecture. Driven by a love for experimenting with watercolors, Selmath brings life to various subjects, from architecture to landscapes and plein air scenes.

Selmath, originally from Kerala, India, discovered her passion for art at a young age. Despite her professional commitments, art has always remained a significant part of her life. After graduating as an architect, she relocated to the UK, where she continues to pursue her artistic endeavours.

Inspired by her background in architecture Selmath finds beauty in various subjects, including landscapes, flowers, and architecture itself and she seeks to capture the essence and allure of these subjects through her artwork. Travel landscapes and architectural scenes also serve as frequent inspirations for her creations.

Watercolor has been her steadfast companion since the inception of her artistic journey, transforming from a childhood favorite into her chosen medium. She cherishes its captivating transparency, which grants artists the ability to craft luminous washes of color that appear to glow from within.
