As soon as I have new events I will provide details here......hope to see you soon.
I have always loved sterling silver and copper jewellery and when I had the chance to sign up for a one day course in Dorset making silver rings and bangles I grabbed it and have not looked back since. I design and handcraft all my jewellery in my little studio at home in Berkshire but spend much of my time in Lyme Regis in Dorset gathering ideas for my jewellery. I work mainly with sterling silver, precious metal clay, copper and brass and add gemstones, Swarovski crystals and beads for extra detail. I love adding texture to my pieces whether it is through hammering the metal with different metal stamps or hammers, using a rolling mill to add patterns or melting the silver and letting it flow to wherever it wants to go! I use nature as my inspiration and this is reflected in my jewellery where I use impressions of leaves and flowers from my garden, adding texture taken from shells on the beach or capturing the movement of ocean life or birds in flight.
All my jewellery complies with the UK hallmarking regulations and I have my own makers hallmark registered with the London Assay Office.
