Natalie Hemkes is a British painter, photographer, textile and digital artist whose love of colour and the natural world informs her bold and vibrant work.
She uses the multi mediums of digital photography, painting and light play to create her joyful landscapes of chromatic reverie. 
Experiencing Natalie's work is to visit her alternate reality as she blends paint and photography together, creating intense chromatic vibrations which give her work such a unique and instantly recognisable aesthetic. 
With the sensibility of a painter her art hovers ambiguously between multi dimensions inviting the viewer to 'fall down the rabbit hole' into a world within a world. Natalie often adds poetry to her images generously giving the viewer a deeper experience of each artwork.
