Contemporary jewellery in enamel and precious metals incorporating hand engraving and gemstones.
Heather Larson is a Canadian-born enameller who grew up in the prairies. Summers spent by the lake and at her grandparents’ farm taught her to look for beauty in rocks and common plants. She combines this with her background in science to create work that invites the viewer to take a closer look at the world. Heather’s work draws from botany and geology as well as exploring human impact on the landscape.
Heather works primarily in sterling silver and uses hand engraving to create soft and sometimes illustrative textures with enamelling in subtle shades.
The workshop is on the B489 a mile before Ivinghoe travelling from Marsworth. A Buckinghamshire Craft Guild member showing with Cathy Timbrell.
