I'm an eternal learner and a career change over 20 years ago immersed me in the world of professional needlework, after I'd gained a place at the Royal School of Needlework. Leatherwork offered new challenges and opportunities for excellence. Moving into teaching seemed to follow naturally.

Developing an interest in using digital technology came as a surprise to someone who enjoys traditional skills. I started out creating pieces using my patterns, printed onto leather and fabric. I've then moved on to online tuition, with my own YouTube channel Elizabeth Bond The Smart Stitcher. I will be displaying some examples of my recent projects during Bucks Art Weeks.
