Helen is a life long artist from early years studying Fine Art at Leeds University to now as a member of the Association of Animal Artists, who she has exhibited with. She has developed her skill with oil painting, largely through animal and wildlife work. Some of her work involves painting onto vintage music. There is usually a link between the music and the subject which lends an extra dimension to her work. She has also recently started to return to some 3D work. Using music in her work lends a different sense to what she paints. Music to match the subject... or music to inspire a painting.... You can listen to the paintings. Music is very emotional and everyone has memories associated with different melodies and sounds. She hopes by combining the two together in some of her work this adds an extra meaning to what you see.
