I have been painting as a Floral Watercolourist for the past 9 months after coming out of a career as a private architect based in Aylesbury and Nether Winchendon. I won my primary school's art prize almost 65 years ago now and have drawn and painted continually during my career in architecture.

My floral works are not intended to be botanically perfect but drawn on being very realistic and impressional using plants and flowers during the duration of the growing seasons starting with irises, aconites, paeonies through the Spring, Summer and Autumn.

I paint 'en plein air' in watercolour as much as possible - weather permitting!

I'd like to join a group of artists for the Bucks Art Week in an area surrounding our home at The Old School House in Nether Winchendon which I converted from a desultory and dismal abandinned village school building and moved in on March 1997.

My wife and I always visit numerous Bucks and Oxford Art Week venues every year in our passionate search, and collections of, fine art and the growing number of accomplished artists within easy reach of this village.
