I learnt my skill at adult education classes while working full time in the NHS. Upon retirement I was able to attend day time groups and classes, and enhance my hobby. My work is mainly wheel thrown high fired stoneware domestic ware, plus some handmade decorative pieces. I also love the process and alchemy of raku, and enjoy making pieces for raku glaze firing; naked raku; and horsehair and feathers.
