Following a move to London, Varvara Neiman (MA Fine Art, Academy of Fine Arts, St Petersburg ) concentrated on her career as a professional artist, staging exhibitions in Central London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Suffolk. This period is reflected in her art through a striving for new forms and media, combining her purely classical training with a modern imagination. The execution of commissioned portraits is another important aspect of Varvara’s career. After earning her Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) Varvara began teaching painting and drawing. As an educator, she relies on her extensive education and wide professional experience in the art world. She currently teaches at various locations in Buckinghamshire, and also conducts private lessons at her studio in Beaconsfield. The themes of her classes are wide in scope: ranging from life drawing, portraiture and oil painting, to abstract art. Her artwork is held in private collections across UK, France and America.
