My ceramic work is about the duality of being both sculptural & functional. While maintaining my smooth pebble shapes I am known for, I have been exploring different clays & textures. I have been working with terracotta and feeling inspired by its earthy granular feel. This has been the transformation in my work this year. The forms can be used to contain small items such as jewellery or viewed purely as a sculptural piece.
