I work in kiln formed glass and try to develop textures, either real or implied, in my work - probably because this is not what people expect of glass.
The pieces vary between practical and sculptural forms, with my most recent pieces being delicate sculptural forms. Using traditional glass techniques with an updated twist, glass powder patterns and wafers are applied to a glass base that is dropped out to stretch the patterns in unexpected ways.
The exhibition is at Orchard View Farm, Little Meadle which can be found off the A418, near Ford, or from the A4010, near Great Kimble.
