For a number of years now I have drawn on the sea and marine life for inspiration for my ceramics. My current work is abstract but based on seaweed, coral, shells and waves. The clay is twisted and draped to create flowing, delicate sculptures, each of which is unique. They are raku fired and often finished with metal pastes and iridescent varnish, mainly in my favourite blues and greens.
Enjoy also a wide range of lively, contemporary work by our Artists, with Demos, home-made cakes, garden seating and extensive views. We look forward to chatting about our art, answering questions and explaining techniques.
