I'm looking forward to taking part in Buck Art Weeks for the first time in 2024. You can find me at Field View Studio, Wingrave.
I am a self-taught printmaker, part-time art teacher, and life-time art maker. My linocuts are inspired by my love of nature, particularly British flora and fauna. In my linoprints I try to encapsulate moments that resonate with me; walks in the countryside, fleeting encounters with wildlife, the changing seasons. I also find inspiration in stories, symbolism, and folklore. I love the traditional techniques of printmaking – the whole process is a labour of love, from initial sketches and carving the design, to inking, burnishing and finally revealing a truly unique and original piece of art.
