A Northamptonshire lad now living in Milton Keynes not far from the concrete cows and a self-taught artist with an engineering background in modular fabrication, design and building services. I’ve always enjoyed drawing and started with some basic pen work in the late eighties and early nineties, with a big interval until I picked up my pens again about 20 years ago and then, thanks to the late local artist Jane Scott, ventured into the world of watercolour. Landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes are my particular inspiration with a penchant for boats and the chaos associated with harbours and boatyards.
As well as pen and wash and watercolours I now include acrylics and mixed media in my general portfolio and recently I’m also dipping my brushes into oil paints as well.
