I am a contemporary artist working predominantly in portraiture. My artistic journey came later in life fitting studying around work and children and culminating in a Distinction from Dunstable college and Best in show at the end of year exhibition.

Recycling is one of my passions and I like to use recycled materials extensively in my artwork. This can be anything from unwanted household paint, used take away trays and toys, to wine bottle tops and human hair. Where possible I link my subject to the materials used, for example depicting a seamstress in dress making patterns, buttons and thread.

My work is in private collections across the UK. I have taken part in joint exhibitions in London, Windsor and locally in Beds, Bucks and Herts. A solo exhibition in Milton Keynes during their Heritage Week led to me giving talks to the visually impaired, a local lower School and day care centres. I have also volunteered on a number of dementia art workshops and worked artistically with adults with learning disabilities.

I live and work in Buckinghamshire.
