Painting

We walk on history. The landscape we see will change, as it always has, leaving marks on the land an artist can use to develop their paintings. I love tracks, plough marks, water marks on hill sides, furrows, ancient hedges, in fact anything that helps gives a narrative. I tell the story through paint and sometimes mixed media. I also write novels and being able to describe the landscape comes from being a painter, being able to see beyond just fields and grasses.
