We’re absolutely delighted to welcome back local artist Jane Peacock to Where Inspiration Blooms this May for a wonderful botanical drawing workshop.

Jane is a well-known Chilterns-based printmaker and artist, as well as a highly experienced teacher, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her as one of the very first members of our community of creative tutors.

In this relaxed two-hour workshop, Jane will guide you through simple drawing techniques to help you create your own beautiful botanical study. Drawing has always been a key part of Jane’s artistic practice, and she loves sharing the skills and confidence that come from slowing down and really observing the natural world.

Whether you already enjoy drawing or haven’t picked up a pencil in years, this class is designed to help you feel comfortable and inspired. Jane is a wonderfully enthusiastic and supportive teacher, and she’ll gently guide you through the process, helping you build confidence and develop your skills along the way.

By the end of the session, you’ll leave with your own botanical drawing and some new techniques you can continue exploring at home.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners as well as more experienced artists who would like to spend a creative morning or afternoon developing their drawing practice.

Jane was recently named as winner of the Clyde & Co Art Prize 2026. She is one of a handful of contemporary artists who make up the Fractured Land Collective and has an exhibition entitled ‘Truth or Folly’ which will be on until Feb ’27 at Wycombe Museum.

At Where Inspiration Blooms, we’re big fans of delicious cake! In this class, you can enjoy a choice of traditional and herbal teas from Chesham-based tea connoisseurs, Two Spoons, as well as both caffeinated and decaf coffee. We have dairy and non-dairy milks to suit every preference, and our homemade cakes are always sourced from good local bakers. We also make sure those who need gluten-free options aren’t left out.
