Oil paintings (atelier methods)

Richard was trained in the classical tradition at the Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art. The work is a mix of figurative impressionism and landscape minimalism. The minimalist paintings are done in collaboration with Martin Anand, an award winning photographer. All the paintings are housed in his working/teaching studio, which welcomes everyone – and especially their dogs.
