“Landscape on the soles of my feet: contours on the tips of my fingers”
My stitched textiles are inspired by my love of landscape, alongside all the details within it, which I frequently photograph when out walking. Maps of every kind appeal to me.
Intuitively I respond to layer and line, colour and pattern, and enjoy designing just for the sake of it.
As a natural scientist, I am also a researcher and experimenter, so my creation formats are varied.
