I came to art quite late in life, as I never studied it at school. However, I’ve always loved drawing. For me, art is a way of relaxing, and of being mindful – present in the moment.

I joined an art class in 2018 and loved it! We use a wide range of media: Pencils and charcoals, soft an oil pastels, acrylics, gouache and watercolours.

Over the years I have found that I love charcoals, pencils and pastels the most. I particularly love drawing animals and people. I like to think about their personality whilst drawing, as I find that usually gives better final results.

I am happy to take commissions to draw pets (especially cats and dogs). I work from photos, so feel free to have a chat to find out more if you are interested.

Orchard View Farm is a lovely friendly venue, so why not make a day of it to visit the exhibition, take a look around the rare breeds farm and shop, and have a meal or tea and cakes in the café?

To find Orchard View Farm follow the signs to Ford and then Dinton from the A418. Drive through Ford. The farm is then approximately 2.3 miles past Ford, on the left.
