42 Angry Whale
Graffiti sculpture

Inspired by the graffiti scene in Bristol where he lived, Angry Whale witnessed many brilliant street art pieces being painted over by authorities. After moving to Buckingham he flipped this idea on it’s head and began whitewashing original oil paintings with tiny figures dressed in orange jumpsuits on scaffolding, painting out landscape scenes. This evolved into mini graffiti artists making their mark. The creator enjoys the juxtaposition of brightly coloured graffiti art against beautifully decorated ornate frames and classic oil paintings; painting the individual figures in street style incorporating low slung jeans, hoodies, Nike hightops and tattoos. Making tiny spray cans, ghetto blasters and everything a mini graffiti atrist would need. As graffitists do, they started tagging everything!! Naturally they tagged trains and bricks, spray cans and cassette tapes!
These sculptures by Angry Whales’ iddy biddy scamps all are inspired by artists around the world and down your street.
