I am a member of The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild  and regularly show my work with them at their gallery in Stoke Mandeville,  I am also a member of Bucks Art Society, The Contemporary Glass Society, Just Glass and the Oxford Craft Guild and show with them during the year. 

I give classes in glass fusing in my well equipped studio in Gawcott near Buckingham.

I make work to commission.

My work has been featured in several books on contemporary glass:the latest is “Into the light” published by the Just Glass Society.

 

Biography

I went back to college when I was fifty.  I did a foundation year in Bletchley and then a degree in ceramics and glass in High Wycombe College.  With help from the Craft Council I set up my studio in Gawcott near Buckingham in 1997.  I was fortunate enough to be taken on, part time. by a well established glass caster and learnt  a great deal from him which I passed on to my own students.

My work is colourful and is often based on nature rocks and the sea.  Recently I have been drawing onto glass and making unique jewellery pendants.
