Biography
Too many years ago to mention I worked with clay and even became reasonably skilled at throwing. And then I stopped – even gave all the tools away. Since then I worked as a graphic designer and attained a degree in Fine Art, but all this time never crossing the threshold of the ceramics studio. Until … … about eight years ago I re-discovered ceramics. I’m a committed hand-builder and I use a mixture of clays, and these give me a surface to develop, using texture, slips, oxides, stains and minimal glaze. The scope is enormous – and very exciting.
