Biography

Originally from Scotland I studied Textile Design and worked as a Textile Print Designer for many years. As my design work became more computerised I began painting, some years later I added ceramics to my practice. The layering process has always fascinated me. I use collaged papers and various printing techniques in my paintings, and slips, underglazes, sgraffito ,inlay and direct printing on my ceramics.
The built environment is a constant source of inspiration for my paintings and ceramics.
