Biography

Helen Boden was born in London but grew up in the heart of Wales.

Fine Art degree at Coventry 1987-1990

Printmaking MA at Chelsea School of Art in 1990- 1991

Artist residency at Harrow School of Art 1992 and Kensington and Chelsea College 1993

Master print Editioner for artist Brenda Hartill 1994 -1998

Sixteen years ago she set up ‘Bodenpress’ printmaking studio for intaglio and relief techniques. Traditional printmaking courses and print sessions are offered for artists to use the facilities with assistance.

My work considers the space and shapes created by the light and texture that we see in everyday life. The golden section is used where possible for composition and placement.
