Biography
My work brings together a dance of colour and texture in expressive, fluid form. I work mainly with resin and ink, inspired by the free-flowing nature of these mediums and the way patterns evolve spontaneously – no two artworks are ever the same. Being effectively a glue, resin also allows me to incorporate jewel-like texture into my pieces and to manipulate the composition with stonework barriers, directing the movement and flow of the piece.
I set up my business, GCC Artworks in 2018 and opened a studio/shop in Leighton Buzzard town where I brought resin art to home decor pieces, gifts and jewellery. Whilst also creating original artworks, commissions and holding regular fluid art workshops. I gave up the shop in 2022 to have my youngest daughter, and am currently in the process of building a new larger studio space that should be finished this year.
With a belief that art should be both playful and fearless, decorative and gorgeous, I constantly experiment with new colours, materials, and surfaces — creativity is everything to me and I strive to decorate the world in my own little way, one piece at a time.
