Biography

I am an artist who loves to exhibit my paintings. I also have some of my designs printed onto accessories such as mugs, coasters, tea towels and cushions.

I like bold and beautiful painting in acrylics and oils.  I paint with passion to make you smile.  Painting quickly to trap energy and movement using strong brushstrokes, texture and juxtaposition of colour – I love a painting you want to touch!

Seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary and taking inspiration from all around – highly stylised graphic design and the great outdoors – finding beauty wherever it may lie. I take inspiration and then paint from my imagination.

After commencing as a largely self-taught artist I completed the Foundation Course at the London Fine Art Studios in 2025. I transitioned from a legal career and love the freedom that art affords.  Let’s play with the rules!

I participated in the Collective Forms Installation at the Henry Moore Studios in November 2024.  I was part of the Land Marks Exhibition at Amersham Museum in August-December 2025  and have shown at Galleria in Chalfont St Giles.  I exhibit regularly at Longwick Art Fair, Berkhamsted Artists and Makers Fair, Bucks Art Week and Herts Open Studios.  I also exhibit locally with the Chorleywood Community Arts Centre, Rickmansworth Art Society and Beechwood Artists Amersham.
