Natalie Bartrum

Natalie Bartrum at work

Natalie Bartrum: Where do you feel most alive? Nature immersion has the ability to make us feel fully present in the moment, a chance to reconnect to ourselves. A state of being in the 'now' which can have a profound lasting effect on your well-being for the whole day. Acrylic on canvas 20x25x1.5 cm £30Natalie Bartrum: I knew it from the moment we met... Ever had that immediate feeling of connection with somebody you have just met, they just get you, you want to them more. We often don't say though and the moment passes. why? What if you did tell them, what if we chose to tell people more about hoe we just enjoy their presence. Acrylic on canvas 15x15x1.5 cm £20Natalie Bartrum: 'Something in the heavens tells me that...' signs and signals to provide comfort, enduring connections or just a little bit of hope at a moment you really need it. Acrylic on canvas 20x25x1.5 cm £30Natalie Bartrum: 'Follow the moon...' The moon reminds us that it is ok to go through phases, transitioning from barely visible to fully illuminated. Living in harmony with natural cycles, embracing change and finding light in the darkness. Acrylic on canvas 15x15x1.5 cm £20Natalie Bartrum: 'Move Gracefully, think deeply, make waves when needed...' Acrylic on canvas 15x15x1.5 cm £20Natalie Bartrum: 'Keep Flying...' The hummingbird is a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible. Acrylic on canvas 30 x 20 x 1.5 cm £30Natalie Bartrum:

Biography

Hello, it is lovely to meet you. I take inspiration from Renaissance art to impressionism and everything in between. I am a firm believer that the art we surround ourselves with can have a profound effect on our well-being. No picture is without a message so surround yourself with images that feed your soul.

The artistic slogan i live by is:

Art is never wrong… trust the process

I studied Fine Art at Aylesbury High School, my claim to fame is achieving 100% in my A-level exam. I initially pursued architecture at Nottingham University however quickly realised my passion did not lie there. I have explored a varied career since then from commercial retail manager, to spa therapist and even a bit of surf instructing in Australia. Through it all i have worked as a freelance artist developing an eclectic style.

I currently live and work in Buckinghamshire as an artist in my own right and an active creative collaborator across a broad spectrum of fields. I am studying for a degree in ‘Art History and Philosophy’ and also work as an Art Tutor. I am a campaigner for a number of charities including Mind, Beat and ADHD UK.

I really enjoy combining different mediums, genres and styles to create something truly unique and memorable. My work is currently moving into collaborative mural art and philosophical approaches of how we incorporate art into our daily lives.

This collection is produced with high quality acrylic paint, on canvas finished with a satin varnish. Prints also available.
