Biography

Working from her Chesham home studio, Julia creates bold and colourful fused glass pieces for the home and garden. From abstract faces to captivating animals and geometric patterns, Julia’s work is instantly recognisable.

Much of Julia’s recent work incorporates hand drawn, printed or painted detail. Her work is constantly evolving.

Julia is inspired by colour, shape and light, the natural landscape and the creatures within it. She also draws inspiration from stories, music and folklore.

Julia runs very popular workshops in her studio throughout the year and also works with schools and community groups to enhance their art curriculum or programme. Her online tutorial videos are also popular among other fused glass artists.
