Biography
I’m a slipware potter predominately using mocha ware and coloured slips. Mocha ware is a sub-category of slipware, where you use a mixture called mocha, which traditionally was made from boiling chewing tobacco and placing on slip to create tree like spindles which cascade down the slip. For me as an artist, I really enjoy exploring new ideas, new forms and a practical process that collate with the use of slipware. Throwing for me is a form of therapy in which I love the regimental process.
