Exhibition: Chiltern Neuro Centre, Pop Up Art Weekend, 1,2/March.
Biography
I have been working on kiln formed and stained glass for over 16 years and my passion for creating with glass has become deeper than ever. Not only do I challenge myself with new techniques from zoom courses and inspiration from childhood memories in Japan, travelling, and nature that surrounds me. With fusing glass, I love to see how glass stretches with heat and the effect of glass layers through the light. I do Drop out vases, Pate de Verre with a leaf from my garden for example. I try and focus my work on the colours, depth and textures taking time with multiple firings.
