Biography
Britain’s coastline and the Chiltern countryside provide inspiration for making stitched textile objects. Observing subtle changes in surface, textile and colour, I record the infinite details and marks which then lead to the making of intensely stitched pieces. Drawing and visual research is fundamental to my practice and the development of my work. I use natural materials and enjoy constructing with fabric and thread, hand dyed to give gentle variations of colour.
