Sally’s work will be on display at Holy Trinity Church, Gawcott MK18 4HY, 7th – 22nd June.
Opening times: Mon-Fri 11:00 – 4:30 Sat 11:00 – 5:00 Sun 12:00 – 5:00. There is disabled access and toilet. Refreshments and parking
Meet the Artists Day is Saturday 7th June. Sally will be on duty on Sun 8th, Fri 13th, Mon 16th, Thus 19th am and Sat 21st pm.
Biography
Light and water are my two passions when painting, with my chosen mediums being pastel or watercolour. Both allow me to bring subtlety and softness to a landscape, but also the vibrancy and contrast that can be found in strong sunlight and reflection. With a background in technical illustration I enjoy capturing a scene in all its detail.
My inspiration is easily found walking a river bank or sitting watching the comings and goings of a busy harbour or the ebb and flow of a tidal estuary. I exhibit regularly and have also given pastel workshops to local art groups and Societies.
