Abstract & semi-realistic paintings

My journey as an artist started quite late on in life, prior to that I had not believed
I could draw let alone paint. In 2014 after a very memorable dream I found some acrylic paints and brushes my eldest son Chris had left in the loft and decided to paint a sunset. It was sort of okay but what I found was, I loved the process. With no formal training I soon discovered my limitations, YouTube can only take you so far, so I started looking for workshops in Acrylics as these were the paints I started with. A couple of years down the line I attended a Watercolour workshop, which then took over and I spent a few years producing representational paintings. In 2020 much changed in my life and acrylics came back onto the scene, but this time in abstract landscape form. The inspiration for my paintings comes from visits in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
