Biography

Let’s sprinkle some DustyPixiez magic in the world

DustyPixiez was formed during the pandemic at a time when creating and reaching out to people was so essential. I was made redundant from my full time role in HR, and I wanted to do something new and fulfilling. Connecting with nature was so therapeutic and provided hope in everyday life – walks along quiet country roads, the freshness of the air, birds chirping and flowers blooming. It made me appreciate everything that I have and to actually stop and smell the roses!

I wanted to capture the beauty of flowers and that’s how DustyPixiez was born – I watched lots of youtube videos, started picking flowers and learned to press them before encasing them in resin.

In July 2025, I attended a Silver Metal Clay workshop and I totally fell in love with this form of art for its unique ability to capture the delicate beauty of the natural world while embracing sustainable practices. I remember coming home with this childlike excitement; I ordered a starter kit and that’s where my journey with silver began. Made from recycled fine silver, silver metal clay allows me to create meaningful jewellery with minimal waste, transforming shells, real leaves, seeds, and botanical treasures into lasting keepsakes.

Each piece is handcrafted and hand-fired with care, preserving the intricate textures and character of nature in fine silver. I am passionate about creating jewellery that is not only beautiful and high quality, but also thoughtful, timeless, and connected to the world around us.

My business is created with love and kindness in everything I do, and, in my work, I maintain richness and quality using botanicals that brighten people’s lives for the better.

About My Products
Botanical Jewellery: Our botanical jewellery features real pressed flowers and botanicals that have been handpicked and pressed before encasing them in jewellery with resin. Materials used are 925 sterling silver or stainless steel. Exposure to direct sunlight may cause the flowers to fade and the resin to discolour. Store in a jewellery box or in a drawer for best results.
Sterling Silver Jewellery: Our sterling silver jewellery is nature themed and is handcrafted using real leaves or shells and ‘999’ fine silver which is an eco-friendly recycled material.

Whether you’re looking for a unique gift or a special treat for yourself, let a piece of DustyPixiez brighten your day today
