Biography
I’m Tsedey, the designer behind Elelta Bijoux. I design and create handcrafted sterling silver jewellery, including bracelets, brooches, earrings, pendants, and rings. Inspired by nature, my designs often feature semiprecious stones and vibrant enamels, blending traditional craftsmanship with unique, organic forms.
My journey into jewellery making began in 2002 when I took courses at East Berkshire College. Over the past decade, I turned my passion into a full-time career while living in France. My husband and I ran a craft shop and workshop, where we sold my jewellery alongside his woven textiles. During the quieter winter months, I also taught jewellery-making classes.
In September 2023, we moved back to Buckingham to be closer to family, and I now work from my home studio, crafting distinctive pieces. I love sharing my craft—whether through teaching, collaborating, or engaging with visitors to discuss the creativity behind my work.
In spring 2024, my jewellery was exhibited at the Obsidian Gallery as part of The Art of Ed Org’s exhibition. This experience encouraged me to push new creative boundaries in my designs.
During Bucks Art Weeks last year, I had the opportunity to showcase my work at ‘Art at Steadings’ in Oving alongside two other artists. This year, I’ll be exhibiting with six artists in Leckhampstead, Buckingham, and I’m excited to share my latest creations.
