Over the past 35 years my work has crisscrossed and weaved, from being figurative to abstract. The rhythms and forces of life that surround me, have heavily impacted the way I see the world. Whether being inspired by the human form or landscapes beyond; marks, colours, textures, shapes and forms take on new life, bursting with vitality and energy. These drawing were completed whilst I was studying at the Royal Academy Schools in the 1990s. I discovered them in my attic whilst moving house, to me they embody hope and have inspired a new awaking of creative energy.
